4 Ways to Digitally Hand-Hold Clients
We’ve come to rely on digital tools to get through the pandemic. Now it’s important to understand the value of the digital tools you are using, and how they can help strengthen your relationships.
Here are four ways you can digitally “hand-hold” clients and the benefits of doing so.
Rent Relief Due to COVID
Do you or clients need financial assistance for unpaid rent and utilities? Income-eligible households will be able to apply for help through the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief program. If you have experienced a financial hardship due to COVID‐19, have past due rent or utilities, and have a household income that is not more than 80% of the area median income, landlords and renters in the state of California can verify eligibility immediately by visiting HousingIsKey.com, (En Español) or by calling (833) 430‐2122, and if eligible, apply.
Economic Expansion – U.S. economic expansion is expected to accelerate this spring, with real GDP growth hitting 8.4% in the second quarter and 6.6% for the full year before moderating in 2022, as vaccines deploy and social lockdown measures continue to ease. (Fannie Mae Economic and Strategic Research Group)
Housing Goal – The state’s housing goal for the 2020s has tripled, after the Southern California Association of Governments voted 64-1 to adopt its new Regional Housing Needs Assessment plan. (OC Register)
Rent Moratorium Impact – Analysis of new data on eviction moratoria indicates the policies resulted in redirection of scarce household financial resources to such needs as food and grocery spending, reduced household food insecurity and mental stress, with larger effects evidenced among African American households. Findings suggest broad salutary effects of eviction moratoria during a period of widespread virus and economic distress. (UCLA/Ziman)
Legislative Day – REALTOR® members are invited to the eye-opening experience of meeting with state legislators to explain the REALTOR® position on measures vital to our industry. Click to see more information / sign up here.
