K-W Leadership – Hours after Josh Team made the surprise announcement on Facebook that he would leave his position as president of Keller-Williams, Marc King, the former co-director of growth, ascended to the top role overseeing residential real estate. Team was president of the Austin-based real estate brokerage since early 2019, and before that was chief innovation officer. (AppraisalBuzz)
Riverside Developer Dies – Developer Mark Rubin, builder of office towers, townhouses and shopping centers in Riverside, and advocate for a UC Riverside medical school, died on Feb. 13 at age 84. His last project, The Mark, a seven story building that will feature 165 apartments and 20,000 square feet of retail shops on the ground floor, is under construction a few blocks away on Market Street. It is expected to be completed late this summer. (SB Sun)
