Growth Expected – The U.S. economy is expected to grow 5.3 percent in 2021, a substantial improvement from the currently projected 2.7 percent contraction in 2020, with a strong pick-up in growth projected to commence over the spring months. (Fannie Mae)
Latest DOM – The median number of days it took to sell a California single-family home was 11 days in December, down from 28 days in December 2019, and only 2 days longer than the lowest number of days ever recorded in the previous month. (C.A.R.)
Stimulus Scam – Beware, the Better Business Bureau Scam Tracker has received numerous reports from people who were contacted about the new COVID-19 stimulus checks. Watch out for “verification” calls, or emails or texts asking you to click a link to “request benefit payments.” The link connects to an application prompting the entering of personal information–don’t do it! (BBB)
