Why in the world would an agent include iBuyers and Zestimates in their CMAs? There’s some interesting data and insight in this report, and agents would be well-advised to read it.
Sight Unseen – 45% of Redfin consumers who purchased a home in the past year made an offer on a property without first seeing it in person. That is up from 28% in 2019 and the highest share since at least 2015, when Redfin first started collecting such data. (Redfin)
Time to Buy? – The percentage of respondents for the Home Purchase Sentiment Index who say it is a good time to buy a home decreased from 61% to 53%, while the percentage who say it is a bad time to buy increased from 27% to 38%. The net share of Americans who say it is a good time to buy decreased 19 percentage points. (Fannie Mae)
