Rollback on Environmental Regulations
President Trump announced that he is rolling back Nixon-era National Environmental Policy Act regulations for how and when authorities must conduct environmental reviews, making it easier to build highways, pipelines, chemical and solar plants and other projects.

Pocket Listing Suit – A federal district court has denied a bid from Top Agent Network, a firm that operates a members-only private group of real estate agents, to stop the National Association of REALTORS® from enforcing a policy designed to curtail pocket listings. The court’s order also bluntly stated that TAN is “unlikely to succeed” in arguing that NAR’s policy is anticompetitive. (Inman News)
Existing Homes – Sales rebounded at a record pace in June, showing strong signs of a market turnaround after three straight months of sales declines caused by the ongoing pandemic. Existing-home sales in the West ascended 31.9% to an annual rate of 950,000, a 13.6% decline from a year ago. The median price in the West was $432,600, up 5.4% from June 2019. (NAR)
IRS Refund – Use the “Where’s My Refund?” tool to start checking the status of your refund 24 hrs after the IRS acknowledges receipt of your e-filed tax return. Access the tool online or download the IR2Go app. (#IRS)
To check the status of your tax refund using “Where’s My Refund?,” you’ll need:
• Your Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number
• Your tax filing status
• The exact amount of the refund you claimed
