Deduction Cap – The House passed a bill that temporarily eliminates the cap on state and local tax (SALT) deductions for 2020-2021. Lowering the mortgage interest deduction and placing a $10,000 SALT cap in the tax law “has disproportionately hurt taxpayers and real estate in California,” says the C.A.R. president. (C.A.R.)
