Rate Cut – The Federal Reserve cut interest rates by a quarter point for the third time this year, to a range between 1.5% and 1.75%. (Wall St. Journal)
Fannie/Freddie Form – Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac recently unveiled the redesigned Uniform Residential Loan Application, the standardized form used by borrowers to apply for a mortgage, following a directive from the FHFA to remove the language preference question and housing counseling information from the updated form.
