New Member Benefit – Realsatisfied!
Realsatisfied is a new member benefit now available that helps agents and brokers measure personal performance and customer satisfaction, with real-time reports and national bench marking. CRS Name Change – The Council of Residential Specialists has been rebranded the Residential Real Estate Council (RRC) to distinguish itself from the Certified Residential Specialist designation.
Boomers Rent – more than 5 million baby boomers across the nation are expected to rent their next home by 2020. (CNBC)
FHFA Increase – 2018 conforming loan limits for mortgages acquired by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac rise to $453,100 on one-unit properties and a cap of $679,650 in high-cost areas, up from $424,100/$636,150.
Median Rental – Renters pay 29.1% of their median monthly income on housing, up from just 25.8% pre-bubble. (Zillow)
Median Own – Mortgage payments take up a smaller share of income, 15.4% in 2017 Q3, compared to 21% previously.
