Help Hurricane Victims: REALTORS® Relief Foundation
Are you afraid of getting duped by phony crowdfunding sites claiming to help flood victims, as they pick through what remains of their homes? The National Association of REALTORS® has an alternative.
“We can offer more than thoughts and prayers,” NAR’s CEO Bob Goldberg and President Elizabeth Mendenhall say, in a message that offers us the opportunity to contribute to the recovery effort for residents along the Carolina Coast.
With at least 32 dead and millions evacuated from their homes or without power, “through the not-for-profit REALTORS® Relief Foundation, we can deliver housing assistance to those in need during the critical weeks and months to come,” says the NAR message.
Unfortunately after disaster strikes, phony crowdfunding accounts tend to appear. But when you donate to the RRF, “every dollar goes directly to victims of disaster. The National Association of REALTORS® covers 100% of administrative expenses,” says NAR.
Over 17 years, the RRF has collected and distributed over $28 million in relief aid for more than 70 disasters in 37 states and territories. Help keep this important work going by making a tax-deductible donation to the REALTORS® Relief Foundation–you can do it in less than one minute using your credit card on the secure online form.
Or you can send a check payable to RRF to REALTORS® Relief Foundation, 430 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60611. Write “RRF Contribution” in the memo line.
The spirit of compassion runs deeply through the REALTOR® family. Your generous donation today will benefit those who need help now. Thank you!
