Here Come Housing’s Headwinds in 2017
Under a backdrop of rising mortgage rates and shrinking consumer confidence, expect modest gains in existing-home sales in the new year, according to the National Association of REALTORS®’ 2017 housing forecast, released last week.
New: Seller Excluded Listing Requirements
There are new requirements as of Dec. 6, 2016 regarding seller-excluded listings in CRMLS. Below are two links that will direct you to the clearly outlined requirements and process.
C.A.R.’s Housing Affordability Fund is dedicating $500,000 for its new statewide Homeowners Association Grant Program. This program will provide qualified first-time California home buyers up to six months of Homeowners Association dues, not to exceed $2,500. REALTORS® will need to complete a program application and certification form on behalf of their client, which will be available in zipForm® Plus under the HAF library. HAF must receive all program requirements no later than thirty (30) days after closing escrow. CLICK HERE
